
Nick Allardice is a social change campaigner at the forefront of several national campaigns to address issues of global poverty and climate change. Nick is the General Manager of aid and development agency The Oaktree Foundation, sits on the core working group of the MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY Coalition and is a Director of both the Australian Youth Climate Coalition and award winning sustainability education NGO OzGREEN. Nick lead the MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY Roadtrip in 2010 which reached 15 million people via the media and directly engaged with 143 Federal MPs. Nick has worked at an international level by designing an Asia-Pacific youth mobilisation strategy for the United Nations Millennium Campaign. He is an ongoing commentator on significant social issues through his regular opinion editorials for state and national newspapers, and also through Co-Authoring books like “The Future By Us: Australia Beyond 2020”. A regular public speaker, he also facilitates on a freelance basis and also for organisations like The Frank Team.
